Darktail when to the leader den as he was new. It was his now, with crowstar gone he was in control. Shadowclan depended on him.

He need to get his nine lives but he Aslo need to get a deputy. But who to pick.

Gingerflight padded up to the entrance of Darktail's new den. "Darktail?" she mewed. The ginger she-cat swished her fluffy tail impatiently as she waited for the leader's reply.

"Yes gingerflight" Darktail said as he gave her permission to enter.

Gingerflight padded in, her green eyes betraying nothing about what she was going to say. However, Gingerflight figured that Darktail probably already guessed what she was here for. Everyone was talking about it after all. The she-cat sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws, contemplating how she was going to state her words. She decided to deliver it bluntly. "The Clan needs a deputy," she mewed. "Who are you going to choose?" The ginger warrior didn't mean to be nosy, she was just very interested in her leader's decisions and the well-being of the Clan. Even though she was just a warrior, Gingerflight hoped to be something more, although she knew it would never happen. (Cough because I already have two highranks cough) Tilting her head, the green eyed warrior imagined a life where she was the leader. Hunger gleamed in her eyes as she imagined Gingerstar, leader of ThornClan. Yes, she thought. That sounds about right. A Clan of fighters, claws sharper than thorns.

"I don't know, their are so many cats to choose" Darktail said.
